Low Water Level Lake Clean Up
We had a great turn-out at our meeting on Tuesday, February 8th as the Lake James Area Wildlife and Nature Society's Project Chairman, John Steine, led our discussion about the important lake clean-up which then took place on Saturday, February 12th from 9am to 3pm. It was a huge success and even got on Channel 13 News. Approximately 200 people took part. Over 150 were out picking up trash and debris along the shorelines and on the islands. Special thanks go to John and Co-Chairmen, Wayne Jones, Tim Greene and Howard Morgan for organizing and helping with this event.
To All The Volunteers: Both CLJ and the fish Thank You for a job well done!
